Mike Steele, P.A.C.

Education: Bachelors of Arts in Physiology from the University of Minnesota. Physician Assistant training from Western Michigan University.

Board Certification: Family Medicine.

Biography: As a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities, Mike’s interest in health and Sciences along with is desire to work with people compelled him to pursue his career in medicine as a Physician Assistant.

Mike’s experience includes working in orthopedics, geriatric and disability medicine, family practice and sports medicine. Mike first joined Edina Sports + Family Medicine over a decade ago, then left to work on a pilot program for home bound patients. Now, back with us, Mike believes that quality of care is enhanced in a small clinic environment where he can really get to know his patients.

His special interests in orthopedics, physical fitness, nutrition, diabetes and cardiovascular care tend to draw certain patients to him. “I talk with my patients to get a sense of what they want to accomplish,” Mike says. “I want to know their personal health goals and then we can put a realistic plan in place to meet those goals.”

When he’s not working, Mike likes to be outdoors hunting and fishing, playing hockey or inline skating. He and his wife enjoy hiking and boating together and are looking forward to traveling more often.
